To all our Free Agent players:
Beginning with Season 7, we will no longer be offering a Free Agent team. This was not an easy decision, as FTL was built on being as inclusive as possible. However, the competitive gap between premade teams and Free Agent teams became too large, and most players were not enjoying their experience. That’s the last thing we want, as it goes against the spirit FTL was founded on.
As FTL continues to grow, we will revisit the idea of a Free Agent team. In the meantime, I want to give a special shout-out to everyone who has played or reached out about joining. Thank you for thinking of us, and we hope to continue earning your support.
